The C.A.R.E Message…
Over 10,000 people in the Anglican Diocese of SC received this e-Newsletter. For those of you who may have missed the St. Michael’s C.A.R.E article published on page 7 & 15, in last month’s Fall Issue, I thought it was well worth publishing it again if for no other reason than to repeat the invitation in the article Headline.
St. Michael’s CARE Team Invites Parishioners to
Minister in Areas of Giftedness.
Thanksgiving is a wonderful time for prayerful and grateful celebration. It is the only holiday and time when gratefulness and thankfulness are clearly defined for the purpose of the season. When are we ever grateful enough for the blessings and freedoms in our lives that God has so richly given to us; and how do we honor God with thanksgiving for what He has so graciously given to us?
Here is one way - pray to God, in the name of Jesus Christ and through the power of the Holy Spirit, to link your passion with your gifts and talents to use for ministry at St. Michael’s (everyone has a passion for something…even if it’s cleaning the house like my mother used to tell me was one of her passions!). Then experience the super-natural blessing and joy of serving others through the heart of Christ that only God can pour into your life.
Your St. Michael’s CARE Team wishes to bless you and your family for a Happy Thanksgiving!
Yours in Christ,
David Richardson - Member
St. Michael’s Congregational C.A.R.E Team
