Aloha e District 13!

November 5 is our opportunity to make our voices heard in the General Election. I encourage everyone to vote, either by mail or in person. Ballots were mailed last week and by now, you should have received yours. If you have not received your ballot packet by October 23rd, or have other voting related questions please contact the Maui County Elections Office at (808) 270-7749 to discuss your options.

If you have any questions or need including in-person voting sites and ballot drop box locations, the Maui County Elections Division, has a helpful, user-friendly website: MauiCountyVotes.gov

Voters can also register online. The deadline to register to vote for the November 5 general election using a paper application is October 28. Each registered voter will automatically receive their ballot in the mail at least 18 days before the election. Those away from their Hawaiʻi residence during the election may submit an Absentee Application to have their ballot mailed to an alternate mailing address for the primary election. The deadline to request an absentee ballot is October 29.

If you miss the deadline to register for the election, you can still register before and on Election Day (with proper ID or residency documentation) at Voter Service Centers.

Me ke aloha,

Mahina
