News and things you should know

St. Patrick's Day is past,

but March is not over yet.

Our next membership meeting is on Monday March 25th at 7:00PM.

MARCH 25th the Celtic Nations Society wraps up the month with our main membership meeting at 7:00PM at the Lost Nations Sports Park. Our meeting theme is "I Survived St. Patrick's Day". Members are encouraged to bring in Irish deserts and sweets to share.

At the meeting we will have videos and pictures of our marches and the various March events for those who could not attend. Members will encouraged to share their stories of what went right, or went wrong, during their St. Patrick's Day festivities.

We will answer any question about our new e-mail message system, plus announce and show off our updated website. We will also cover the status of our involvement with the Ohio Celtic Festival planned for August and our Meet and Greet event in June.

CNSONO Ladies Drill Team Mass at St. John Vianney

The CNSONO membership and the Ladies Drill team led into St. Patrick's Day by having a special Mass on March16th at St. John Vianney Church, 575 Bellflower Rd., Mentor, OH 44060-3997. The Drill Team marched in to the tune of the pipes, our Member of the year was in attendance, and everyone who was there will remember the story of St. Patrick and the piecing of the foot.

Special thanks to Pastor Thomas W. Johns ("Father Tom") who officiated the Mass and supported us. Music for the Mass was supplied by the talented Katie Cooper-Schmidt.

The Celtic Nations appreciates their hospitality and looks forward to making this an annual event.

Gary Smrdel and Donna Perrine did a great job in setting up everything to make this a success. Many thanks!

After the Mass some of our members adjourned to Hooley House to relax.
