Happy Thanksgiving!
The Corsicana & Navarro County Chamber of Commerce wishes everyone the best throughout this Thanksgiving holiday. May we all have grateful hearts and share our blessings. We also want to remind everyone that our local businesses really need our support this Thanksgiving more than ever. Don't forget to SHOP SMALL and SHOP LOCAL! Check the Chamber Directory for assistance getting started.

  • FULL SERVICE WASHES (by appointment)
  • TIRE SHINE
  • HAND SPONGE BUG REMOVAL
  • TREE SAP REMOVAL
Upcoming events:
Be sure to join us December 4th for networking and collaboration among other non-profits as we will be brewing up some great ideas for all in attendance. We know that we are truly "stronger together" and it all begins when we meet together and bring both our needs and resources to the table. Last month's meeting was very productive and created new networking opportunities. We will also be continuing the social media outreach discussion... hashtag 101. Please come, wear your mask, and bring business cards.
Volunteer Opportunities:
Volunteers are the "eyes and ears" of Meals on Wheels, and we rely on our army of volunteers to make sure each and every client is safe and well. The success and reputation of Meals on Wheels is dependent upon the reliability, promptness and efficiency of our wonderful volunteers. Meal delivery routes are delivered Monday through Friday and take about one hour to deliver. Most volunteers work one day a week, every other week, or on an 'as needed' basis. Volunteers are also needed to help in our offices.
Hand in Hand Hospice needs you! Consider donating a few hours to help those who are not able to get out and be mobile. Sometimes, the very best medicine is a chance to have a conversation or just listen to someone read. We are all used to being so busy with life in general that we can't imagine what it is like to be taken out of that daily routine and how it would affect us psychologically, and ultimately physically. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer for Hand-in-Hand Hospice, please give Jennifer Tatum a call at 903.493.0557
