A Word from the Director

Welcome to April and hopefully beautiful Spring weather. There are a lot of things happening here at the Chamber this month. We are planning our local MayDays Festival, starting work on the Tour DeWitt Bike Ride and our Annual Golf Outing. Those events are keeping us very busy. Before we know it, it will be time to start working on the Haunted House. Plus, we are planning an Open House here at the Chamber office on April 25th from 5:00pm - 7:00pm. We hope you can join us for some light refreshments and a glass of wine or tea. We would love to meet you all!

Recent News and Events

Business Expo 2023

Our Business Expo was held on March 30th in the Clinton HS gym. We had 50 exhibitors and about 300 people in attendance. We've had some great feedback so far from our participants. (If you haven't filled out your survey please take a moment and do so. It will help us know what to do better/different next year.) WHOW broadcasted live, interviewing several of our businesses. Clinton YMCA volunteers demonstrated Pickleball and offered to teach anyone at the event how to play. We were excited to have the Clinton HS Theatre group join us and perform songs from their recent musical The Wizard of Oz as well as a few other selections. And, as we have come to look forward to, Heartland Bank sponsored the very popular Community Shred Event. We gave away two $50 gift cards, one from Kirby Foods and the other from Save-A-Lot. All in all it was a great night!

Gift Card A Palooza Raffle

Our Annual Raffle this year is a Gift - Card - A - Palooza. The grand prize is over $400 in gift cards from our retail members. One person will win them all! Tickets are $10 and can be purchased here at the Chamber office or from any of our board members. The drawing will be held at our Annual Golf Outing on June 20th. You do not have to be present to win.
