Holiday Marketfest - Oh, what fun!

Snow on the ground made the weekend of Holiday Marketfest magical in spite of the chill.

The town was buzzing from Friday through Sunday with shopping and workshops, wagon rides, competitions and more.

Thanks to the collaboration of the Chamber, Wiscasset Creative Alliance & Wiscasset Parks & Recreation it really was a fun and special weekend and a great opportunity to show what Wiscasset has to offer in the winter. It gets better every year thanks to the combined efforts of businesses, non profits, volunteers and the Town.

Christmas Cookie Challenge - Over $300 raised by the Chamber for Wiscasset Feed Our Scholars

Over 15 entrants presented their festive cookies at our Christmas Cookie Challenge held during Holiday Marketfest at Aekeir Brewing - congratulations to the winner, Laura Neebling. Judges Shane, Shep & Daphne awarded Laura the prize for her peppermint brownies. Cookies were sold following the judging and resulted in a donation of over $300 for Wiscasset Feed Our Scholars' weekend food program for Wiscasset school students! Thank you to Anne & Monique for organizing and to all who entered!

Head to Ames this Saturday, December 13 from 7:30-1:30 PM for an opportunity to pick up a variety of holiday goodies and support their program.

Congratulations to the Winners of the Chamber Holiday Tree Raffle

Announcing the winners of the 2025 Holiday Tree Raffle: Jean M and Emmitt L!! Each winner will receive one of two prize packages of gift cards and items worth over $900 each (including $400+ in gift cards to local businesses.) We are so envious! A full list of each prize package and the sponsors behind them can be found here. Thank you to all the local member businesses and individuals who contributed items to the tree. And many thanks to the Wiscasset Community Center for set up and hosting, and the Wiscasset branch of First National Bank for selling tickets.
