A Very Special Thank You to Louise Valdovinos, President of the DeForest Area Historical Society, for presenting at our May Chamber Lunch & Learn. We learned about their four historical sites, the Englesby Gallery in the library, the Lyster House, the Hansen-Newell-Bennett House Museum and the DeForest Historical Depot. The new Windsor Municipal Building is nearing completion. The Open House will be Saturday, June 14 from 10:00 a.m. to noon.

What you see here is one of the new exhibit cases in the building. It will feature a display of historical items about Windsor. We're excited to put this all together!

We're asking for your help. While we have a large collection of artifacts, they're mainly connected to DeForest. So, if you have items you are willing to donate or loan to us, please take a photo of them and email to dahs53532@gmail.com

We're looking for historical items like these that have a direct connection to Windsor:

• Old farm tools

• Clothing from different eras

• Household items, such as furniture, pottery, glassware, and other items used in homes

• Personal items that provide a connection to the past

• Tools and products related to Windsor industries like farming or manufacturing

American Family Insurance Championship at TPC Wisconsin

The American Family Insurance Championship, an official PGA TOUR Champions event, will debut a new team competition format beginning in 2025.

The tournament, scheduled for June 6-8, 2025, will feature three days of competition, including one day of “scramble” play. The 2025 event will also see the tournament moving to a new course, with the competition now taking place at TPC Wisconsin in Madison for the first time. The course was co-designed by PGA TOUR Champions star and host of the tournament, Steve Stricker.

AmFam Champ was created in 2016 by American Family Insurance, PGA TOUR Champions and PGA TOUR player and Wisconsin native Steve Stricker. Since its inception, the championship and associated events have raised nearly $20 million for the American Family Children’s Hospital and other charities.

NEW IN 2025: General admission golf tickets are available on a per-day basis only. Tickets are available for purchase online, in person or over the phone. Service fees are the same when purchasing online and at the ticket office. All tickets will be digital and emailed to the ticket buyer.
