THE CHAPELINE - May 3, 2022

FROM Rev. Brock Patterson

Hello Chapel Family!

After a fantastic journey in Israel, it's wonderful to be back home and ready to jump back into God's work at the Chapel!

Twenty-three of us made the trip to Israel. With the exception of a COVID case at the beginning and then one more COVID case at the conclusion, the trip was really fantastic. We saw and experienced so many things that it'll take a while for us to process everything, but we were able to get lots of pictures and we look forward to sharing our journey with you!

Both Jeff and I owe a HUGE thank you to the Chapel staff, including Maurice, Susan, Mimi, and Jerry, who willingly worked overtime to allow Jeff and I to experience the Holy Land. In addition, Janie Peterson has been invaluable and she assisted in the office while we were away. And of course, I am so thankful for Rev. Charlie Shook, who took the lead in worship by bringing God's message to the Chapel family these last two weeks. Please make sure to thank each of these people who dedicate their lives to God's work at the Chapel!

This Sunday is Mother's Day. This is always a special time in the Church as we give lots of love to mom! I hope and pray that you are planning to come this week to worship. For those who are unable to attend in person, I hope you are able to connect to us through livestream on our website and Facebook. This will be a special Sunday as we pay tribute to the women who have so faithfully given their lives to care and love all of us.

Thank you again Chapel family! I eagerly look forward to seeing you and serving with you at the Chapel!

God Bless You! On behalf of all twenty-three of us who were able to make the trip to Israel, we thank you for your love, support, and most of all, your prayers!

May Collection: Baby Items

"Cyesis" Program at Riverview High School

The Charitable Outreach Committee will be collecting baby items during the month of May. These will be shared with the Cyesis Program at Riverview High School in Sarasota. This is a daycare located within the high school for the children of high school students. It allows students to continue their high school program while having their children in a safe environment. Please consider donating to this very worthwhile cause!
