INDIAN ROCKS ROAD CLOSURE
As of Tuesday, May 28, Indian Rocks Road was closed at the intersection of Wilcox Road. This closure will continue for 17 days while the City of Largo replaces a sanitary sewer line across the intersection from Siesta Road to Wilcox Road. USF COMMUNITY SUSTAINABILITY PARTNERSHIP
University of South Florida students recently presented to the Largo City Commission as part of USF's Community Sustainability Partnership Program, after they completed work on three special projects that aim to advance the livability and sustainability within our community. These projects have allowed the City to utilize USF resources and innovation while giving students real-world experience before graduation. Students presented the results of these projects, Open Data, Private Utilities, and a Community Survey, including each project's goals, deliverables, and outcomes, and the impacts on our community. Staff will be evaluating the projects with the aim of implementing the student's work into Largo's strategy and daily operations.
