The City of Largo welcomes you to LARGO TODAY , News from the City Manager. Stay up-to-date on the superior services Largo aims to offer our residents, businesses and homeowners each week.
Registered users can now apply, pay for, and schedule inspections for permits online through eTRAKit. Applying for permits on eTRAKiT is limited to licensed contractors at this time. Homeowners must apply in person for all permits at the Building Division located on the first floor of Largo City Hall, at 201 Highland Ave, Largo, Florida.

Current permit types that are available online through eTRAKiT include:
  • Electrical - change outs or replacement of equipment, like for like only
  • Mechanical - change outs or replacement of equipment, like for like only
  • Plumbing - change outs or replacements of equipment, like for like only

Any new installations or permits requiring plan review need to be applied for in person at the City of Largo Building Division.
If you are a licensed contractor and would like to apply for permits or schedule inspections online, please contact to register . Please include copies of your current Pinellas County Construction Licensing Board card, state license, and local business tax receipt with your request.

General searches are also available for the public without creating a user-name.

Don't forget, the parade route has changed a bit due to road work. 2nd Street is being re-done and is unsafe to have a parade so we are heading west. Please see the route on the map and please share with your friends. Note: the parade still starts at noon on December 15th, right near Station 41 and heads south in front of the School Board.

Largo's Annual Holiday Stroll two night event in Largo Central Park features over two million LED lights, entertainment and free family-friendly activities for all ages. A variety of crafts, activities and concessions will be available each night from 6:30-9:30pm. Returning this year, a carousel and a seven story ferris wheel will be on-site for you to enjoy the beautiful lights from above the park.  The holiday lights , ferris wheel and carousel will run nightly from November 22 through January 1. Cost is $5 per ride.

This Saturday:

  • Kids Snow Slide (additional cost)
  • Lighted Motorcycles at 7:45pm sponsored by Goldwig Road Riders Association Chapter FL1-M Clearwater
  • Holiday Gift Market
  • FREE

Limited on-site parking for $10 will be available, along with free park and walk from Largo Middle School and Everest University. $5 parking available at Largo High School.
