CITY MANAGER'S PROPOSED BUDGET FY2020
On Friday, July 12 at the City Commission Budget Work Session, City Manager Henry Schubert was proud to share the City's Proposed Annual Budget for Fiscal Year 2020. The budget was developed as a collaborative effort with participation from all departments. The budget discussions highlighted new projects and increased investments in technology that will help meet the needs of the organization and the community, with only a modest increase in taxes. As our organization continues to focus on building progress and momentum around the strategic goals and vision established by the City Commission, each annual budget will highlight and continue that forward progress. Find more information on the budget development process, proposed funding for projects and initiatives, and try out our interactive budget tools by visiting Largo.com/FinancialCenter.

DUKE ENERGY TREE MAINTENANCE
Duke Energy crews will commence maintenance tree work along electric lines located in Largo in the upcoming weeks. Please review the maps below that show the approximate areas where trimming activity will occur. The tree crews will be cleaning up all debris associated with maintenance activities. As a reminder, debris resulting from storm damage or other events unrelated to our maintenance activities is the responsibility of the homeowners. Part of the pruning activity will occur on lateral lines, some of which will require climbing in rear lot areas.
