Currently, registrations are being taken for Boys Flag Football, Girls Fast Pitch and Cheer Clinics. Free Bus Vouchers Now Available

  
The City of Thibodaux's Department of Housing and Community Development announces that it is currently issuing Free Bus Vouchers to Low-Moderate Income Residents. All interested individuals must provide picture ID, proof of residency and proof of income of all household members. Eligible residents can receive 3 free, all day bus passes each week. This program is being funded by the 2017 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG). For more information, please call 985-446-7217 or visit the office at 112 St. Mary Street.

The Market
 
 
  The Market, formerly the Farmers Market, has been relocated to the parking lot and sidewalk adjacent to City Hall in Thibodaux.

 

Some of the items featured at the market include: vegetables, fruits, jams, jellies, pickles, plants, baked goods, cakes, pies, handmade cypress furniture, birdhouses, fresh and pickled eggs, fresh sausage and hog head cheese.

 

Also, Rienzi Market is now planning on returning sometime in September. They will have a market every Thursday from 3 to 6 p.m. at the St. Francis Vegetable Garden located near the Warren J. Harang Auditorium in Thibodaux. For more information, organizers encourage you to visit them at www.rienzimarket.com
