Preparing Your Employees and Business for Transform 285/400
The Transform 285/400 improvement project is  under construction,and expected to be completed in 2020. This $800 million project represents one of the largest financial commitments by the state and is designed to help reduce traffic congestion and enhance safety in the area near the I-285/SR 400 Interchange.  Although the Georgia Department of Transportation is planning for most of the work to occur doing off-peak hours, there will be some activities which could affect daily commutes. Now Open! Sandy Springs Innovation Center
Located in the heart of the Perimeter Market, the brand new Innovation Center will meet a variety of business needs. Reserved desks, private offices, conference space, and event/training space is available!  Established in 2017 by the Sandy Springs Perimeter Chamber of Commerce, the innovation center is made possible through the support of The Sandy Springs Development Authority, Cousins Properties, and Comcast Business.  More information at sandyspringstechcenter.com
Sandy Springs Named a Top 10 ‘Best City for Millennials’ 
The Washington Post states that Sandy Springs is in the nation's Top 10 for desirable locations and the only city in the Deep South on that list. The list, compiled by the website Niche, said the ranking was based on several factors, including the number of job openings, access to bars and restaurants, affordable housing, and on the number of millennial residents. The data used to compile the rankings came from the U.S. Census, Federal Bureau of Investigations and Bureau of Labor Statistics.
 
The City Provides Apartment Safety Checker 
Helping employees relocate for work just got easier. The City has an Apartment Safety Checker Guide, which allows citizens to compare criminal activity in any of the City's roughly 70 apartment complexes. Created in partnership with the Sandy Springs Police Department and Sandy Springs Fire Rescue, the map provides the numbers on incidents reported within the individual apartment communities.
