A Message from the Director
It's hard to believe that the calendar has turned and Labor Day is behind us. Although we say goodbye to summer, we don't have to wave away the outdoor fun...

Join us this Saturday for the Perk to Park Bicycling Adventure on the Perkiomen Trail. Choose to ride 10 or 20-miles... then join us at Green Lane Park for some brews, eats, and treats by the lake! Come for the ride and stay for the last party of the summer!!

Also this fall, we have a great Out and About line-up! Later this month, we'll head to the Pine Barrens of New Jersey for Botany by Boat on Batsto Lake. In October, we'll head to Hawk Mountain Sanctuary to watch the fall migration and for a little hike, which I like to the call the "Grand Tour"! Also, back by popular demand is Yoga at the Perk. Join us on Wednesday evenings as we get our stretch on!

By mid-September, the Perkiomen Plant-A-Thon will be in full-swing.... but you better sign up quick... spots are going fast!! We also have some big projects coming up this fall... including a host of tree plantings, a rain garden project in Lansdale with North Penn Water Authority, and a BIG streambank restoration project in Lower Salford... more details to follow! And don't forget, we'd love to partner with your business, group, or corporation for a custom team-building event that will truly make a difference. Email me for more information.

And to end on a fun note... the Conservancy is now the proud owner of eight new paddle boards! Be on the lookout for some impromptu paddling events this fall!
Enjoy the weather, and I hope to see you "out there"!
