New Feature for Tithely Websites

Parishes with Tithely websites can now share content with the Diocese with one click. This new feature allows parishes to push news and events posts from their website directly to the diocesan website. The diocesan website can also push content to the websites of parishes on Tithely Sites.

If your parish website is a Tithely site, you will see this new feature when you are in editing mode. When you click on the green pencil icon, you will see a new menu item: “Share Event” or “Share News”. When you click on “share” you will then see a list of websites you can share your content with. The list includes the Diocesan website and other parishes and diocesan organizations that use Tithely sites.

When you share your content, the administrator of the website you are sharing with will get an email notification. They will be able to choose whether to accept your content.

We hope this feature will make it easier for parishes to share news and events with the diocese.

While the main goal is to make it easier to share news and events with the diocesan website, this feature does allow parishes using Tithely websites to push content to other parishes also using Tithely Sites. Before you share content with other parishes, please contact the clergy leadership and/or website administrator of the parish you want to share content with. Together, you should agree upon the type of news and events to share on each other’s websites.

A reminder: job postings need to be reviewed by Executive Archdeacon Nick Pang before being posted on the diocesan website.
