Induction of Rev. Vineet Samuel

The Rev. Vineet Samuel was formally installed as Vicar of the two-point parish made up of St. John the Divine, Maple Ridge and Holy Spirit, Whonnock, on July 30, 2025.


The Rev. David Edgerton preached at service, highlighting that while the history of the church is complex, "it's threads find a way of weaving together." In the case of the church in the Golden Ears area those threads now weave together two church communities into a new collaborative ministry that dreams of new ways of making Christ present in the lower mainland.

Parish Development Grants 2025 Winter Cycle


The 2025 Winter Cycle of Parish Development Grants is now open.


What projects might qualify for a grant? Click here to read about two parishes in the diocese that received grants in recent years. Thought very different projects, each aimed to develop the parish's capacity to carry out the mission of the church in the world.

2026 Church Calendar Pre-Order


The ACW is pleased to offer the Anglican Church Calendar for 2026.


The 2026 Canadian Anglican Church Calendar is now in its 120th year. The calendar continues the tradition of showcasing beloved Anglican churches from coast to coast.

This VST conference brings together ministry leaders and preachers to offer wisdom into this liminal season from a variety of perspectives.

St. John the Apostle parish in Port Moody is seeking a part-time Children and Family (CF) Coordinator. You will work with other responsible people in the parish to provide programs for a small group of children (under 12 y.o.) and to provide a safe, friendly, and welcoming environment where they can know the love of God through enjoyable learning experiences. This will include “Godly Play”, a Montessori method for Christian education, for which you will be trained.
