Dear Parents, we had a mix-up in communications with the elementary/middle school administration regarding Teacher Appreciation Week, and we informed you last week that the Thursday luncheon was already taken care of by WLCS. It turns out that is incorrect, and yesterday the school office sent out a Sign Up Genius link for those who would like to sign up to help with the food for the teacher appreciation luncheon on Thursday.

NOTE - the online sign up form asks for helpers on each day.  However, IN THE ELC, we do NOT need assistance on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday....just the food for Thursday.

Many thanks to all of you for joining me in recognizing and appreciating our  great teachers! ....Shirley

Our Little Roly Poly's are Growing Up!

We love watching our littlest ones develop during the year, and have seen so many changes since we   welcomed them to the center this past fall. Most of them are now very busy practicing their motor skills as they learn to be confident walkers.

As the children get older, we slowly move them into eating lunch together and settling down for a single nap in the day.  Lunchtime has become a community activity now!  We do this to prepare the little ones for the transition to the toddler  (Butterfly) room.

Speaking of Motor Skills...

Our Ladybug kiddos are loving the challenges of climbing, balancing, and jumping on the new tree stumps in their yard.
