Seattle Tourism Improvement Assessment (STIA) Fee Suffers Adjustment
On June 1st, the Seattle Tourism Improvement Assessment (STIA) fee has been adjusted from $2.00/night to $4.00/per night.
 
“STIA is not a tax but a fee that is mandated by the Seattle City Council. It is to generate funds which will be dedicated to promoting and marketing Seattle as a leisure destination. All guests will be required to pay the fee. It is not part of any tax exemption and is not subject to adjustment.”
