Forage Center staff are preparing for the upcoming Coastal Promise Field Simulation to be held
September 26-29, 2019 in Swanton, Maryland, USA.
The site is a 2.5 hour drive west of Washington, DC, 3 hours west of Baltimore, 2 hours south of Pittsburgh, and 3.5 hours east of Columbus.
If you know of students or colleagues who might benefit from the experience, please share this information with them. For those flying in, Pittsburgh is the closest airport. We ask that all applicants have a minimum of a bachelor's degree. (If they don't have a bachelor's degree, they can request provisional acceptance.) The fee is $700 for students and $1,000 for working professionals and will include meals and lodging (in-doors, but must bring a sleeping bag).
Registration
is now open and closes August 30, 2019.
If you are an alum and interested in role playing please let us know by August 9, 2019.

INTERESTED IN HOSTING A FORAGE CENTER PROGRAM?

Are you interested in offering an opportunity for your staff, community, or students to learn about best practices in humanitarian engagement? Are you interested in promoting the work of nongovernmental groups like the Forage Center?
The Forage Center is looking for partners . that would host a program or workshop on humanitarian and peacebuilding practice. We currently work with La Roche University (read left column), and are planning programs in Texas and Florida.
Today more than ever before, Americans need to know about the work of humanitarian assistance. Programs can be tailored to needs of your group, and last a few hours or several days!
