More Families in Greater Nashua Face Homelessness
as a Result of the COVID-19 Pandemic
Jess, a single mother pictured above with her three children, is one of 193 people (96 households
total) that received assistance through our homelessness prevention and emergency housing
programs from March 2020 - December 2020.

Jess got behind on rent when she was furloughed at work as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. When her landlord served her with eviction papers, she turned to the Front Door Agency. We helped Jess catch up on rent and provided short-term rental assistance until she went back to work full-time in December.

With your help, 500 local children in need had their Christmas wishlists fulfilled!

Your support helped families like Brenda's. Brenda has sole custody of her twin five-year-old granddaughters. She lives on a fixed income but has always managed to make ends meet on her own. A few months ago, Brenda injured her back and has been out of work since. "The girls are my number one priority," she said. "It's hard to make the holidays as special as I'd like to for them, and this program really helps."

Hunt Foundation. A big thank you to Schroeder Construction and Pinnacle Rock Mechanical Services for your hard work on this project!
