MCSO Sexual Assault Report
At the October GMVA meeting, Deputy Hopper reported on the two sexual assaults that have occurred at the Trailpoint Apartment complex at Grogan's Mill and South Millbend.

The first assault occurred in September and the most recent on October 13.  In both cases, which occurred in the early morning, the assailant entered through an unlocked sliding glass door to gain access to their first floor apartments.

The sheriff is investigating the evidence left at the sites to determine the assailant's identity.

Security at the complex is being improved and the gates are being kept locked at all times.   Please check and lock each of your doors!

Township Candidates Discuss their Campaign
Seven Township candidates  each gave short presentation at the GMVA meeting this week. Their vision and qualifications can be found at the  Voter Awareness Council  site and at Vote Smart.

You can also view The Candidates Forum held at the Business Chamber.  The Woodlands Online took a video of the forum and published it on YouTube for those that couldn't attend.

We encourage you to familiarize yourself with the issues and candidates so that you can vote for the candidate that best represents you.   Early voting is October 24 - 31.  Election Day is November 8.
