Welcome Julie Powell!
Julie Powell is joining CSU Pueblo this December and will serve as the Professional Learning & Career Advancement Specialist for the Graduate School. In this role, Julie will serve students by creating opportunities for students to navigate graduate school, enhance their skills, develop their careers, and achieve their professional goals. Julie earned her bachelor's degree in anthropology and global studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She completed her master's degree in Higher Education and a certificate in academic advising from Angelo State University. Julie has previously supported K-12 students as well as community college students in her past roles. She brings with her two years of work-based learning experience in which she helped students improve their employability skills and earn promotions at their workplaces. She is passionate about supporting and ensuring the success of students, particularly those interested in career advancement. Julie looks forward to working with CSU Pueblo graduate students and utilizing her expertise to support them.

2024-2025 FAFSA Form
There are major changes and improvements coming to the 2024–25 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) form. This redesigned and streamlined FAFSA form will be available by Dec. 31, 2023.

AIAA Graduate Award
The AIAA Foundation provides graduate awards annually for graduate students in science or engineering programs.
Mechanical and Industrial engineering majors are encouraged to apply

HSB Harlaxton Scholarship
Study Marketing at Harlaxton, England in Summer 2024
In summer 2024, students from the CSU System (CSU and CSU-Pueblo) may take two marketing courses with Dr. Ian Brennan at Harlaxton College, England.
Award: $1,400 (reduces Harlaxton Program Fee to $3,945)
Deadline: Sunday, December 17, 2023

The Truman Scholarship
The Harry S. Truman Scholarship Foundation is the federal memorial to our thirty-third President. Awards merit-based scholarships to college students who plan to pursue careers in government or elsewhere in public service.
Award: up to $30,000
Deadline: February 6, 2024, by 11:59

EDF Climate Corps Fellowship
Climate Corps fellows are graduate students who work with companies, public institutions, and non-profit organizations to meet climate commitments by identifying opportunities to reduce emissions in their operations and supply chains. We are looking for graduate students from diverse backgrounds, with a range of experiences, training, and ambition, who are motivated to join the climate workforce and advance climate projects within organizations.
Mechanical engineering, Industrial engineering, Chemistry, and biology are encouraged to apply
Award: $1,400 per week for 10-12 weeks
Deadline: January 9, 2024

Boren Fellowship
The Boren Awards fund the intensive study of language and culture abroad by U.S. undergraduate or graduate students. All eligible applicants have the option to either apply for a Regional Flagship Language Initiative or select/design their own study program.
All master's degrees can apply
Award: $12,500 for 12-24 weeks
Deadline: January 24, 2024

Dolores Zohrab Liebmann Fellowships
The Dolores Zohrab Liebmann Fund for the purpose of funding advanced education and graduate study grants.
Engineering, chemistry, biology, and social sciences are encouraged to apply
Award: Cost of tuition plus $18,000 stipend
Deadline: January 13, 2024

Intercollegiate Studies Institute Graduate Fellowship Program
Need money for Grad school? The Intercollegiate Studies Institute provides fellowships to outstanding graduate students who intend to teach at a college level.
Education students are encouraged to apply
Award: $5,000- $15,000
