Spotlight on a Program: Masters in Business Administration

The Master in Business Administration (MBA) is one of the oldest graduate degrees at CSU Pueblo, first offered in 1984. It's designed to prepare students for success by providing a deep understanding of management theory and application, the economic, political, and social environment in which businesses function, and the behavioral skills essential to the manager's role in implementing business decisions.

Housed in the Malik and Seeme Hasan School of Business, the MBA program prepares students to be come business professionals who are innovative and who uphold professionalism and ethics, and make positive impacts in their community, and significant contributions to the economic infrastructure in Pueblo and beyond. Classes are taught by world-renowned faculty and our program is accredited in the top 5% business school worldwide by Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. The MBA program is also offered online for convenience and flexibility.

Students in the program can specialize in their field of interest through concentration areas such as Cybersecurity and Healthcare Administration, allowing them to tailor their education to their career goals.

The director of the program, Professor Gene Lucero, has helped numerous students succeed in advancing their careers. He is a skilled and passionate leader, dedicated to student success. Professor Lucero's innovative initiatives, such as networking opportunities and professional development workshops, have equipped students with skills and knowledge for success. He is a respected member of the business community and known for his exceptional leadership skills and strategic vision.

If you are in the MBA program, then you know what sets our program apart from others: the reputation and quality of faculty, small class sizes, modern facilities, state-of-the-art technology, expedited program catering to the working professional, and professional advising staff are just a few.

If you're interested in pursuing an MBA, talk to Professor Lucero (campus-based program, gene.lucero@csupueblo.edu) or Jamie White (online program, jamie.white@csupueblo.edu).
