Doctor of Nursing Practice Spotlight

DNP Project Defense Presentations

What is a DNP project defense? A Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) project defense presentation is an essential milestone in the academic journey of DNP students. During this presentation, students showcase their research findings, methodologies, and conclusions to a panel of faculty and peers.

Presenting a DNP project allows students to demonstrate their understanding of advanced nursing concepts, research methodologies, and clinical applications. It showcases their competence in conducting scholarly inquiry and applying evidence-based practice principles.

Students attending a defense presentation provides an opportunity for other DNP students to learn from their peers' research projects. It fosters a collaborative learning environment where students can gain insights into different research methodologies, healthcare issues, and clinical practices.
