The Indiana Bar Foundation hosted the 2017 Indiana High School Mock Trial State Competition March 4-5 at the Indianapolis City-County Building and Indiana War Memorial.
Twenty-four teams from 11 schools vied for the honor to be called this year's Mock Trial State Champion.
After four rounds of intense competition, the top two teams that advanced the the championship round were
America's Next Top Lawyer, Carmel High School, and
Not Necessarily, John Adams High School. The final round was judged by Hon. Steven David, Hon. Larry McKinney, Hon. Martha Wentworth, and Susan Roberts.
Not Necessarily emerged as 2017 Indiana High School Mock Trial State Champion. They will compete in the National High School Mock Trial Championship in Hartford, Connecticut this May.
