2021 National High School Mock Trial Championship Recap
The Foundation was proud to host a successful 2021 National High School Mock Trial Championship! The first ever virtual competition was hosted in Evansville May 12-15.

  • 93 trials were held over 3 days
  • 450 high school students from 45 states and territories participated
  • 250 volunteers from 36 states served as judges and facilitators

Carmel High School and Trinity School at Greenlawn represented Indiana at Nationals where Maryland finished in first place. Watch the awards ceremony to see all the winners here. Thank you to the many sponsoring organizations and individuals for supporting the event!
Summer Interns and Tech Fellow
The Foundation is pleased to introduce three individuals interning with us this summer. Vernon Wilson and Deion Ziwawo are undergraduates at Indiana University and will assist the Foundation with various projects. Vernon is studying Human Resource Management with a minor in Social Welfare and Advocacy, and Deion is majoring in Psychology with a minor in Law and Public Policy.

Krystal Hunter will work on Indiana Legal Help through the Access to Justice Tech Fellows program. Krystal is a law student at IU McKinney, executive board member of the Midwest Black Law Students Association, ICLEO Fellow, recipient of the Hon. Carr L. Darden and Mrs. Lundy M. Darden Scholarship, and a 2019 Chinese Summer Law Program participant.
