Trinity School Wins Mock Trial State Finals
 
Team "Ides of March" from Trinity School at Greenlawn, South Bend, won the 2019 Indiana High School Mock Trial State Finals after five  intense  rounds of competition over two days. Indiana Supreme Court Justice Steven David presided over the final trial at the Indiana War Memorial on March 10.  

Ides of March will represent Indiana at the National Mock Trial Championship in Athens, Georgia May 17-18. Be sure to follow the Foundation on Facebook and Twitter for updates!
Woods Dedication Award

Maggie Weatherman, a recently retired Air Force attorney and mock trial coach at Cascade High School, was selected for the 2019 Woods Dedication Award. 

Maggie started the mock trial program at Cascade 10 years ago, and her students say that "no matter what role team members are assigned, they walk away from the season with a deep understanding of law that one could not obtain anywhere else as a high school student."

Evansville kicked off its participation in the state's High School Mock Trial program in February.  Thanks to your donations, a region of high school mock trial is re-born.
