THANK YOU SYMPOSIUM PARTICIPANTS!

The 14th Annual Midwest Government Contracting Symposium was a success with 249 participants. A wide range of topics were addressed from contracting and cybersecurity to marketing and manufacturing. One of the main highlights being the candid briefing provided by both government personnel and industry members that lead to active conversations regarding the needs and challenges facing the industrial base. Our newest member, Logan Brincks had this to say about the event, “The Annual NDIA Symposium is an invaluable collaboration between industry and government. As a first-time attendee I was able to make connections with industry professionals who understand the defense industry and can solve challenges. With a constantly changing industrial atmosphere, collaboration is no longer a convenience but a necessity. There were numerous networking opportunities that enabled open and candid conversations. I would encourage anyone who has not yet attended to consider attending next year and any industry companies looking to make connections to leverage this symposium.” We look forward to seeing you all at the 15th Annual Midwest Government Contracting Symposium in

May 2024.

We want to give a big shoutout to Alan Wilson for his incredible service to the IA-IL Chapter of the NDIA! Alan joined the team in 2002 and quickly became an instrumental part of the organization, dedicating his time and energy to the planning and execution of the first five Small Business Symposiums. After more than a decade on the Board, Alan has decided to retire, and we want to take a moment to thank him for all he's done for the NDIA. We wish him all the best in his future endeavors! Thank you Alan!
