Join us for our first monthly legal clinics on Small Claims Court on Dec. 5 and Tenant Rights on Dec. 12. Both clinics will be held at 10 a.m. at the Clerk's office.  The free workshops are being presented in partnership with Florida Rural Legal Services to help citizens learn about the legal process.

If you can't make the December sessions, mark your calendar for the future sessions. The Small Claims Court Clinics are held on the first Tuesday of each month and cover what to do if a case has been filed against you. The Tenant Rights Clinics are held on the second Tuesday of the month and cover tenant rights and responsibilities as well as the eviction process.

Reservations are not required but seating is limited. For more information, contact Florida Rural Legal Services at 800-476-8937.

Thank you to all who attended. We look forward to you joining us at a future workshop.
Representatives from our Recording Department attended a faculty-led study abroad program on Nov. 1 at Florida Gulf Coast University.  Hundreds of students and faculty were educated on the passport application and renewal processes.
