On Wednesday, January 25 at 6:30pm, we’ll provide the workspace, specialty tools and guidance to help YOU disassemble, troubleshoot and repair broken items. Provide Your Input on the Next Police Chief
City Manager Melissa Stevenson Diaz has announced plans to begin the selection process for Redwood City's next Police Chief, following the announced retirement of Chief Dan Mulholland, scheduled for May of this year. As part of the selection process, the City is seeking community input on the professional attributes, skills and experience desired for the next Police Chief. Downtown Parking Changes
With the start of the new year, parking changes approved by the City Council in 2022 went into effect on January 2, 2023. These changes will help reduce the General Fund subsidy of the parking program, and better manage the City's parking resources. Changes include expanded parking hours in the Downtown area from 8am to 8pm (hours previously 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.). For more information, go here.

Redwood City Library Foundation congratulates the three students graduating from Career Online High School (COHS) next week. The COHS initiative, supported by RCLF in partnership with the Library, Project READ and the California State Library, allows enrollees up to 18 months to complete the curriculum and obtain a high school diploma and career counseling. The graduation will be held at the beginning of the City Council meeting on January 23 at 6pm.
