ADDED DAY AND TIME
While you can keep library materials until June 26th without incurring any fines, returning materials is as easy as 1 . 2 . 3.
The library's vestibule will be open on certain days and certain times:
Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays
10 AM - 1 PM
Tuesdays and Thursdays
4 PM - 6 PM
Saturdays

MATERIALS QUARANTINE
All materials returned to the library will be quarantined a minimum of 72 hours. Why three days? This is based on the most recent scientific data regarding the "life" of the coronavirus on paper, cardboard, and plastic. A new study is in the works, but results will not be available for several months. Materials will be checked in after the quarantine ; no fines will be accessed at this time.
PLEASE BE KIND TO YOUR NEIGHBORS AND LIBRARY STAFF
NO NEED TO HURRY!!
If you see someone in the library vestibule, please wait your turn to maintain social distancing. With six different times to return materials, we ask you not to overload us with your returns. Until further notice, we will be using this modified return system to return materials safely.

You can respond to the 2020 Census online, by phone, or by mail.
Census Timeline Extended to
October 31st
The Census Bureau continues to adapt its operations as necessitated by COVID-19. Under the current plan:
  • Residents can respond to the 2020 Census until October 31.
  • All in-person census-taking and field activities are being adjusted, and some activities are beginning to resume in certain areas.
  • The largest field operation, door-to-door follow-up with households that haven’t responded yet (known as Non-Response Follow-Up), will begin August 11.

All originally scheduled mailings, including mailing a paper questionnaire to households that haven’t responded yet, have now been delivered. Residents can respond online, by phone, or by mail until October 31.

Check your community’s response rate:
How does your area compare in its response rate to date? Which neighborhoods are lagging behind? Find current data to inform your outreach and messages on the 2020 Census Response Rate Map or the Census 2020 Hard to Count Map.
