One reason golf is such an exasperating game is that a thing we learned is so easily forgotten, and we find ourselves struggling year after year with faults we had discovered and corrected time and again.

MnMetro Chapter - Events and Leagues Update
Greetings members. Under the current circumstances, our April 18 Tee Off physical event at Rush Creek is  cancelled . This event has always been our opportunity to get together with old and new friends, sign up for leagues and visit with vendors who support our Chapter. The Board has decided to hold a virtual Tee Off on April 18. (details below) As of now, we are adopting to the current reality in order to get our season started.
We anticipate being able to start leagues and activities at some point in the late spring/early summer, so please renew your membership and be ready to go  when we are allowed to increase activities.

Minnesota Golf News
As of March 31, the current order from the Governor's office does not allow for golf courses to open their operations. The order for closure of public accommodations (E.O., 20-04) includes golf courses and currently ends at 5 p.m., Friday, May 1. The Minnesota Golf Association (MGA) is seeking clarification from the Governor's office to see if golf can be a permitted outdoor activity. Several other states allow golf courses to remain open with modifications for social distancing and other safety measures to protect staff and golfers. The MGA statement was sent to members and is available on their website.
