Need a Break from Winter?
Winter in Minnesota can drag on and on.
So come join our January 9th Zoom presentation from 10:00 -11:00 am. Ashlee Ciora, a MN Metro LPGA Amateur's member, is co-Founder of Women on Fairways, LLC. Her business designs golf trips with you in mind, focusing on creating memorable experiences both on and off the fairway. She will provide us with some golf tripping ideas that will boost our spirits and defeat those winter blahs. Be sure to watch your e-mail for the separate Zoom invite coming soon!

Join our upcoming Zooms in February and March  and be eligible for a prize drawing for those attending all three meetings:
February 13th - Refresher on the Rules of Golf
March 13th - Get Ready for the 2021 Golf Season
Big News: GHIN Option for MN Metro Chapter!
Our Minnesota Metro Chapter in now its own club with the MGA!  No waiting for the courses to open and if you are heading South for some golf, you will be able to post scores immediately.  If you compete in a tournament you will be identified as a member of the LPGA Amateur Golf Association - MN Metro.  The annual fee for maintaining your handicap is $25 (the same price as the golf courses are charged for maintaining it for you.)

Below is the link to allow members to sign up and pay for a Handicap Index and MGA Membership.   After paying, the confirmation email (below) will be sent to you letting you know your membership will soon be activated and is also a great resource for the benefits received as an MGA Members.  The activation takes place normally every 24 hours during weekdays.

Once the activation takes place, a welcome email will be sent out which will include the GHIN # assigned to you. If you already have a GHIN just sign in and change your course.
Meet Our 2021 Chapter Board
Thank you to these Members who stepped up to take on these positions. Their goals are to continue to move this organization forward and nurture friendship though golf and social events. (Dates indicate year they joined the Chapter)

President Janette Schull (2014)
2020 saw a reinvigoration in golf. My vision is to continue that momentum, introduce more women to the game, offer members more golf opportunities to improve their game, be more comfortable playing with others and to play competitively in a fun, friendly and 'safe' environment. "I learned to play golf as a child in Michigan and now it's almost as much fun as my adorable grandson!"
Social Director Sheila Mullen (2015)
My goal is to engage and connect our Members all year long through social events, in person and on Zoom.  "Since retiring in 2018, golf has been my passion and this year my lifesaver"
Marketing Director Jeri Meola (1998)
Our team goal is to put in place streamlining so we have great Member communication, increased sponsorships and wider community awareness. "I'm so passionate about the game of golf, I named my company EGL ACE Research!"
Finance Director Kathy McCray (2007)
My goal is to ensure National compliance, record retention and oversee the Chapter budget. Currently transitioning finances to the new Billhighway management platform. "I recently joined the unemployed, so surviving the pandemic includes walking 15 miles a week, reading, movie binging and Zooming with friends"
Golf Director Terry Fraser (2000)
To create exciting golf opportunities for all Members and maintain our successful league schedule." My sons tease me I play the worst golf on the best golf courses".
Membership Director Laurie Stanek (2018)
To increase retention, insure new Members feel welcomed and always search for ways to grow the Membership. "My husband and I now winter is Arizona so my golf skills should improve - hopefully!"
