This event is open to all Members who have an established handicap*
Registration fee is $85.00
Includes golf, the fee to National and a $10 food/beverage voucher.  Cart rental is not included in the cost but will be available at the course for an additional fee.

This is one of our largest events of the year and we encourage all members to participate. Members can choose from two playing Options - individual stroke play or on a scramble team.
Stroke Play: Compete with Members at your skill level within the following handicap flights:
Championship Flight: 0.0 - 10.0
First Flight:  10.1 - 17.0
Second Flight: 17.1 - 24.0
Third Flight: 24.1 - 32.0
Fourth Flight: 32.1 - 40.4+
Scramble Team Play:  Compete in a 4-person team with a team computation factor based off of each team member's handicap. Refer to our  website for additional information on how the team factor is calculated.

The 1st place Low net and Low gross in each flight and 2 Scramble Teams advance to the  Semi-Final Championship on August 25th at the Grand Geneva Resort in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.

*Handicap revision date used for the Championship will be July 1st.
All scores must be entered into your handicap system no later than June 30th. You must have posted a minimum of two - 18-hole scores in 2018 to be eligible. If you do not have a handicap now, by June 14th you must have five 18-hole scores posted (or the equivalent) to establish a handicap to be able to participate.

Volunteers Needed
We are also in need of several volunteers to help with the following on the day of the event:
Registration Table -- Spotters on the course -- Starters on holes 1 and 10
Photographer-- Award Set-up -- Scoring Table
This is a great opportunity for new members, members who have not yet established a handicap or any member who's been leery about participated in CC, to experience this fun day. If you are able to volunteer on July 15, please send an email to Kristi Peterson with your availability!
Spotlight on Our Board of Directors
Our Chapter will not be able to exist if Members do not step up and serve in these Board positions. Here is an explanation of each of the positions and the current Board Members:

President: Presides over monthly Board meetings, assures all Directorships are maintained, assures the Chapter remains in good standing. (Ann Borders)
Directors of:
Golf Programs:    Oversees all golf activities: leagues, events, Chapter Championship, education and handicaps.  (Angie Christo)
Social Events: Oversees all non-golf related events: TeeOff, Year End, Toys for Tots. (Julie Hauser)
Marketing : Secures and retains sponsorships and preferred courses, leads Chapter communications. (Janette Schull)
Member Services: Oversees membership retention and recruitment, Golf Show and Meet N Greet. (Patti Soule)
Financial: Oversees the budget, ensures National compliance, and retains records.
The Directorships are 2 years terms, President, 1 year. The busiest time for the Board are winter and spring, when all the planning takes place. (Heather Wahl)

As a Member, think about how much you enjoy the golf and other activities offered. Elections happen in the fall. Is it time for you to consider stepping up?
