Thank You to the Board
Big Thank Yous go out to our outgoing Board of Directors:
Angie Christo (President), Janette Schull (Social), Patti Soule, (Membership),  and those who have finished their first term: Alice Heth (Golf) and  Kathy McCray (Finance). Your commitment and dedication to the Chapter is greatly appreciated. It is members like you that keep us going and you certainly don't receive near enough pats-on-the-back for stepping up to fill these positions. Job well done!!!
Land of 10,000 Birdies competes in Midwest Cup Qualifier

The MN Metro "Land of 10,000 Birdies" team recently competed in Chicago as part of the LPGA Amateurs Cup S eries.
The competition was held at Cog Hill and included 26 teams of 8 people from the Midwest and beyond. The Cup Series consisted of two-person team match play on Saturday followed by singles match play on Sunday.  The weather delayed play each day and competition was reduced to 9 holes on Sunday because of the rain-soaked conditions.  Our team placed 13th out of 26 teams. Despite the weather the team members had a good time and are looking forward to competing next year!
2019 Solheim Cup, Scotland
Members at St. Andrews
In September  twelve members of our Chapter traveled to Scotland for the Solheim Cup. The matches were exciting and the US's young team proved up for the challenge but in the end it was Suzanne Pettersen who sunk the last putt for Europe in the last match on the 18th hole to win the cup for Europe.

Everyone played some golf and Angie Christo, Pat Hegenbarth, Tammy Smith-Foyt and Kristi Peterson had the privilege  of playing the courses around St Andrews including the Old Course. The other travelers included Dianne Nesburg, Pauline Whelan, Lori Windschitl, Ellen Olson, Diane Knutson, Jodie Skolnick, Karey Jensen and Sherry Gabrielson. We all agreed the entire trip was a fabulous experience.
