Day School Community Highlights
Fall Festival Volunteers Needed!
Help serve our famous Walking Tacos, Smoked BBQ Baked Potatoes & EDS-Made Puppy Chow at the 95th Annual West Side Nut Club Fall Festival - October 3-8. Parents, teachers, students, alumni... anyone can help at Booth 109. There are plenty of ways to get involved and help raise tons of money for the EDS community. Want to work the food assembly line inside the booth? You can do that! Want to take customers' orders & serve ice cold beverages & homemade Cotton Candy? You can do that, too! If you'd rather work from home, you can bake potatoes and deliver them to the booth. We need about 7 people to work each of the 3 daily shifts (9am-1pm; 1pm-5pm; 5pm-10:30), plus potato bakers.

Pictures of the Week
Sunday was a beautiful day for the All School Picnic! What fun!
Only at Evansville Day School... 6th & 7th Graders spent Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday immersed in outdoor learning at Camp Carson. Getting outside of the classroom is a critical element in teaching our students real-life skills in problem solving, collaboration, and resilience. It doesn't hurt to have fun while we learn either!
7th Graders learned about stress relief from our Youth First counselor, Mrs. Arrick. They then researched different methods of stress relief and gave presentations on their findings - empathy, self-reflection, communication, balance.
