News from the Middlesex Chamber - April 2023

Member Spotlight: Yolo Promo

Yolo Promo is more than a company that creates promotional products. Owner Mike D’Angola offers professional creative services so you can save time and money while promoting your business or upcoming event.

“With Yolo Promo, customers can save their time, money and sanity by using my creative services along with access to a wide variety of promotion products,” said D’Angola. “We can be an entire art department if your business needs help with branding, logo design and everything in between.”

The common phrase that “you only live once” has always been an important slogan for D’Angola, who he left his position as a production manager at a New York City media company to open his very own business in Middlesex County in April 2020.

Yolo Promo offers hundreds of thousands of promotional options. Popular items include apparel, printed products, personal protective equipment, drinkware and many other items a customer can think of.

“Summer is approaching which means it’s a great time to order those t-shirts and other customer apparel,” said D’Angola. “Don’t forget those signature sunglasses and beach towels.”

Eco-friendly products such as reusable bottles, straw sets and seeded paper postcards have become increasingly popular. Adding to that list is reusable bags since the statewide bag ban went into effect May 4, 2022.

Being a member of the Middlesex County Regional Chamber of Commerce, along with other regional and state chambers, has allowed D’Angola to network and grow his business. Word of mouth, D’Angola’s ability to build relationships along with his more than 20 years of experience in the design, production and marketing fields have been a key part to Yolo Promo’s success.

“Yolo Promo has been a strong partner for the Chamber and it’s other members by offering hassle-free and affordable services,” said Lina Llona, President of the Middlesex County Chamber. “Mike is great to work with and is a great marketing resource.”

D’Angola is also a proud new member of the Greater New Brunswick Rotary, a connection made through the Chamber that allows Yolo Promo to give back to the community.

“My role at the Rotary really fulfills a different part of my heart,” he said. “It is a good organization that does good things for people and I am really glad to be a part of it.”

The Great New Brunswick Rotary is hosting an Indian Dinner & Classical Dance Performances on May 24 to raise funds Project GuruCool, a literacy improvement initiative in the state of Tamil Nadu, India. Click here to learn more.
