The North Country Alliance Board of Directors meets monthly on the third Wednesday at 11:00am. All members are welcome to join.

Small Communities, Big Opportunities

February 12 through

Virtually and at the Hotel Saranac in Saranac Lake

Aspiring entrepreneurs, current small business owners, support professionals, fiscal and legal agencies, and North Country leaders will gather for Small Communities. Big Opportunities. (SCBO), a three-day, hybrid conference.


SCBO is presented by the North Country Center for Businesses in Transition (CBIT) partnership, and welcomes anyone with a dream of business ownership and who lives, or wants to live, in northern New York State.


The conference will have several tracks. More than 250 entrepreneurs and small business support specialists are expected to attend.

Check the Federal Broadband Map

CHECK THE MAP

New York State and Franklin County Economic Development are asking everyone to check their location on the Federal Broadband Map for accuracy to ensure that our region gets the funding we need to get broadband everywhere.

NCA Supports Ski Center

Osceola Ski and Sport Resort, LLC. received financing from the North Country Alliance in conjunction with the North Country Tourism Fund in November of 2019 to establish a new Cross Country Ski Center in Camden.


The resort is owned and operated by Dustin and Christina Hite and offers cross country skiing, lodge, rentals, lessons, food, beverages, retail ski sales and accessories. The business supports local ski clubs and offers various events throughout the winter.
