Shift Back to Rural Economic Development Conference
Naturally Lewis is excited to host the Lewis County Economic Development Conference with the theme, Shift Back to Rural on Wednesday, June 15th, 2022 at 3 Willows Event Center in Lyons Falls, NY!

We are shifting the conversation to focus on successes in our rural economy, coming back to community and coming back to the humanness of working together as a means of growth. We are looking forward to a full day filled with leadership development, economic development updates, community building, and of course networking!
Advocacy for the North Country
The Education and Outreach Committee was at work again, this time strongly opposing bill S8395/A10069.

This bill, as written, would prevent Industrial Development Agencies (IDAs) from offering a PILOT on school taxes. It would lead to IDAs losing projects and ultimately less jobs, less economic activity, and less revenue generated for not only school districts but local municipalities.

The NCA's Outreach and Education Committee is chaired by Jeremy Evans. Reach out to him if you would like to be involved. jeremy@adirondackfrontier.com
