The North Country Alliance Board of Directors meets monthly on the third Wednesday at 11:00am. All members are welcome to join.

NCA Advocates for North Country Business

The Outreach and Education committee completed this year's advocacy agenda. It is similar to last year's covering housing, workforce, broadband, tourism, higher education, prison closures and redevelopment, infrastructure, and renewable energy. You can read the agenda at this link.

The committee will next set up a zoom meeting with the North Country's NYS representatives. The committee is also considering ways to approach our federal representatives with an additional emphasis on border issues.

Please consider keeping a copy of this agenda handy for any meetings you may have with state, regional, and local officials as well.

The NCA's Annual Meeting in June will be take place at the Olympic Regional Development Authority facilities in Lake Placid. The meeting will focus on ORDA's economic impact on the region, future plans, and near-term and long-term challenges. Following the meeting will be some additional opportunities that may include tours and/or curling.
