Dear Animas High School Community,
The AHS Head of School Search Committee is excited to announce that we are inviting a highly qualified finalist, Rebecca Ruland, to meet with our school community next week. View Rebecca's resume here to learn about her relevant and impressive professional experience.
The Search Committee has gone through a rigorous selection process, focusing on four critical aspects of school leadership: operational excellence, financial acumen, instructional leadership and cultural fit. After an initial screening process, we conducted online interviews with our top candidates. We have now moved on to the final stage of our hiring process, with hopes of hiring our new Head of School in the coming weeks.
Rebecca will visit with us next Thursday, April 21. In addition to a full day of interviews, conversations and observations on campus, we will host a Community Forum on Thursday evening from 7-8pm in the AHS Commons to allow students, families and other interested community members to meet her, hear about her educational vision, ask questions and provide feedback. We plan to livestream the Community Forum via Google Meet so that Ospreys far and wide can participate online, using this link.
We hope you will join us in welcoming Rebecca to the Nest! If you have questions about our Head of School hiring process, please direct them to HOSSearch@animashighschool.com.
Best Regards,
AHS Head of School Search Committee
