Greetings Ospreys,

It's certainly been a full, exciting week in and out of the Nest, with TED Talks wrapping up, younger students prepping for next week's TPOLs, our Final NEST Meeting of the year, last night's Senior Supper and then this morning's beach-themed Advisory Olympics at Fort Lewis College! A huge thank you to Durango Arts Center for hosting our NEST Meeting, to our junior parents for organizing, cooking and serving at last night's Senior Supper and to the Durango Fire Department for providing the space for that special gathering of teachers and seniors.

Ospreys definitely know how to close the year out, with a sweet mix of academic rigor, celebration and playfulness. Speaking of playfulness...you know what they say, right? If imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, surely no faculty loves their seniors more than ours, as evidenced by this year's Senior Impersonations.
We can't wait to celebrate the AHS class of 2022 at today's Graduation Ceremony at 4pm at the Community Concert Hall.

The Balcony section will be open for general admission on a first-come, first-serve basis and doors open at 3:30. We hope to see you there!

The ceremony will be live streamed for those who cannot attend at https://vimeo.com/711003104/8a24625655. This link will also work for viewing AHS Graduation after the ceremony has finished.

Next Week's Events
After the long weekend, students in 9th through 11th grade will finish out the year with Transitional Presentations of Learning. As a reminder, there is no school on Monday in observance of the Memorial Day holiday, and students are only expected to be on campus Tuesday through Thursday when they are either presenting or paneling.
