After 36 years of dutifully bringing the world to Green Bay, our core gallery is being transformed to carry us forward into the future!
August will be our first full month of construction as we refurbish our core gallery. New thematic sections will enhance our local field trip program, be easier to keep current and change out in the future, and meet the community’s educational, creative and changing demographic needs. The new gallery will also be more inclusive, handicap accessible, and enlivened by new technology. Join us as we improve the quality of life for our entire region!

Li Hu's Packer Fan Art
August 3 - September 22, 2019
In celebrating the Green Bay Packers 100 year history, this art exhibit features the work of the late Professor Emeritus of Fine Art at UW-Oshkosh, and Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame Fan Finalist, Li Hu. As a devoted Packers fan, Li Hu completed this series of oil paintings and illustrations in 2007. What drew the artist to be inspired by “Packers Nation,” was the game-day experience at Lambeau Field.
Li attended his first Packers game in 1997, the season after the Green Bay Packers won Super Bowl XXXI. That Packers' tailgating experience with brats, beer and music was the genesis for this series of Packers fan paintings. Li captured the game-day atmosphere around the stadium using his camera. He then took those fan photos and transformed them into his unique style of oil paintings.

Fresh Finds in the Gift Shop
Bridging communities and connecting generations is critical to our work throughout the museum - even in the gift shop! We are excited to introduce Bops, our newest jewelry vendor who partners with a women’s co-op in India to create our hand-crafted, up-cycled jewelry. The co-op enables women from urban villages the opportunity to make a fair wage by creating high-quality, unique pieces. This jewelry is made by individually hand-wrapping each wooden bead with up-cycled fabrics including traditional Indian saris. Support sustainable business practices, support women, and support your favorite museum by sporting these vibrant and stylish accessories!
