We are pleased to offer free admission to Brown County residents from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. the first Wednesday of the month! 

Not only is admission FREE all day, so is the project we will be making from 10:00 am to noon. After noon the project will be available in take-home kits while supplies last.

• Astronomical Society Meeting at 6:30 p.m. Meetings are free and open to the public and include society business, an astronomy-related presentation, and a Deep Sky Object of the Month.
• From 5:00-7:00 p.m. local author, illustrator, and Neville Public Museum volunteer extraordinaire Preston Taylor will be signing his "illustrated History of Green Bay". Copies can be purchased right in the Gift Shop!

AI is quickly raising the ambitions of scientists; however, the capabilities that AI enables vary significantly across fields. Kyle Cranmer provides examples and describes some emerging patterns that hint at the diversity of ways that AI will transform scientific practice.

Experience the vibrant cultures of Northeastern Wisconsin in a program celebrating different cultural traditions. Begin with calming breaths, then enjoy sensory activities that feature traditional music, historic artifacts, and storytelling inspired by local history. Participants will create their own story cloths, capturing the beauty of cultural connections and traditions that shape the region today.

SPARK! is a creative engagement program for people with early to mid-stage memory loss and their care partners.

We are absolutely thrilled to introduce the newest member of the Neville Team, Sam Roellig! As Guest Services Coordinator, Sam will be managing rentals and overseeing the visitor experience. Sam comes to us with a strong customer service background, and prides himself on working diligently to provide the best possible guest experience.

Sam began his time at the Neville volunteering, channeling his passion for film photography into cataloging our film collection and scanning negatives for a more comprehensive archive.

Outside the Museum Sam collects old cameras and does his best to get them working. He can be found taking photos, reading, or getting outdoors with his wife and their dog, Izzy. We are positively delighted to welcome him to the Neville and encourage you to come meet him soon!

Discover famed American children's author and cartoonist known for his work writing and illustrating more than 60 books under the pen name Dr. Seuss. His work includes many of the most popular children's books of all time. The exhibit features a collection that consists of original character illustrations created by Dr. Seuss, as well as a collection of his "Unorthodox Taxidermy". There are also bronze sculptures of some of his most famous characters.

Bear Witness shares ten years of engagement and personal experience for Pulaski-based artist Stacey Von Busch as she displays examples from her collection of hundreds of letters from clients alongside examples of her work as Eight Trees Company. Read the memories behind the clothing and textiles she was asked to turn into stuffed animals, and ponder the importance of the artist as a facilitator of rich human connection.

In 1859, Darwin published On the Origin of Species, in which he argued that all life forms are related through common descent and that different species emerged (and continue to emerge) as a result of natural selection. It is widely considered to be one of the most important books in science.

But he didn’t dream it up one day walking in the park. It was the result of what he saw on a five year voyage around the world, studying the plants and animals of South America, the Galápagos Islands, and Australia, followed by years of research and experimentation. And his perspective and conclusions were only possible in light of then-recent geological and paleontological discoveries.

Darwin & Dinosaurs is a story-based, interactive exhibit that sets the stage before Darwin’s famous voyage, follows him around the world as he finds clues indicating life evolves, and concludes with modern discoveries that have proved him right. Fascinating, engaging and, most importantly, educational, D&D lets visitors see the world as Darwin did. 

This exhibit will highlight a portion of the content from the Neville’s National and State recognized award-winning exhibit: Delay of Game: African American Football Players in Titletown. The Green Bay Packers have been around for more than a hundred years, but African American players did not join until 1950. Learn about these players’ experiences, struggles, and impacts that have made a difference in this community.
