Become an archaeologist for the day, join the Brown County Parks Department and the Neville Public Museum for a fun morning of Parkaeology at Barkhausen Waterfowl Preserve!
Did you know that there is an abandoned homestead located inside the preserve? It once belonged to the Schmitz family who lived and farmed there as early as 1888.
The program includes:
* Presentation on the park’s history and the story of the Schmitz family.
* Hands-on archaeological discovery to map and locate structures and artifacts relating to this historic farmstead.

Cost for the event is $3/Child (ages 3-16), $5/Adult or $15/Family
