74th Art Annual Exhibit Opening Saturday, May 11, 2019 9:00-5:00 p.m.

The 74th Art Annual exhibit is an all media, juried exhibition of current artworks produced by artists living in the counties of Northeastern Wisconsin and Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. In November of 1942, under the direction of Earl G. Wright, the Neville Public Museum inaugurated the Northeast Wisconsin Art Annual. For over seventy years, the Neville has continued this tradition of bridging communities through the talent of regional artists.  The 74th Art Annual will be on display at the Neville Public Museum from May 11, 2019 through June 9, 2019.

Free Admission for Mother’s Day Saturday May 12, 2019 Noon-5:00 p.m.

Celebrate Mother’s Day at the Neville Public Museum! To honor all moms on their special day, the Neville Museum is offering free admission to each and every mom on Sunday, May 12!

History Treasure Tour Wednesday, May 15, 2019 4:00-8:00 p.m

Have you ever wondered what it takes for the Neville to create our exhibits? Come meet with the curator of our upcoming exhibit Birds and get the inside scoop on how we design an exhibit and see birds from our collection.  The Brown County Federation of History Organizations is hosting their 5th Annual History Treasure Tour on Wednesday, May 15, 2019. As a partner in the organization we are pleased to offer free admission from 4:00-8:00 p.m. On this evening y ou can also visit with the Green Bay and De Pere Antiquarians to learn more about objects supported by the Community Grant Program such as Morgan L. Martin’s Green Bay Rangers jacket currently on display in the exhibit Our Brown County .

Parkaeology at Lily Lake Saturday, May 18 10:00 a.m. - Noon

Become an archeologist for the day! Join Brown County Park staff and the Neville Public Museum for a fun morning learning and uncovering park history at Lily Lake Park. There is still time to register! Pre-registration is required by calling the Brown County Parks Office at (920) 448-2824 or (920) 448-6242  Cost for the event is $3/Child (ages 3-16), $5/Adult or $15/Family

SPARK! Tuesday, May 21, 2019 10:00 -11:00 a.m.

SPARK! is a cultural program for people with early to mid-stage memory loss and their care partners. This year’s 74th Art Annual showcases artists from northeastern Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula. Join an artist featured in the exhibit as they talk about their work and lead us through a project.
