New Website Tracks Behavioral Health Redesign
Today the Ohio Departments of Medicaid and Mental Health and Addiction Services launched a new website and e-newsletter for beneficiaries, providers and other stakeholders to follow behavioral health system redesign activities. Over the past five years, Ohio has made significant progress in rebuilding community behavioral health system capacity. The next steps for redesign, which will be implemented beginning July 2016, include expanding services for individuals with high-intensity needs, modernizing business practices to improve patient care, and coordinating care across physical and behavioral health care services.
