Garden Guild
Our beautiful outdoor sanctuaries are the gardens at the front entrance, and also on the 6th Avenue side between Otey and Founders Hall. Many volunteer hours are spent year round to plant, water, and weed. The 6th Avenue Courtyard in particular needs many plants put in every spring, the tulips along the fence are replanted every fall and watering has to be done every week. Judy Oxford maintains the garden between Otey & Founders and Virginia Callicott maintains the garden at the front entrance. If you would like to help on occasion, or make a special contribution, contact Virginia Callicott ( [email protected] ) for the front courtyard, Judy Oxford ( [email protected] ) for the side courtyard, and Pat McGaw ( [email protected] or 615-349-5806 ) for Barnabas . You don’t need a green thumb, just a willing spirit. Thank you in advance for helping keep our gardens beautiful!
Bicentennial Society
The Historic Committee and the Bicentennial Committee have been hard at work, planning and preparing for the Bicentennial celebrations! The Committees want to encourage members and friends of St. Paul’s to be a part of the Bicentennial Society.  Everyone is welcome. St. Paul’s has so much to celebrate as we move forward to the Bicentennial (only 8 short years away)! Please consider becoming part of the Bicentennial Society, and consider helping the Committees with the planning and preparations. There is plenty for all of us to do.

We hope you will join us for the Birthday Party, celebrating St. Paul’s 192 nd , Sunday, August 25, 2019 – immediately following the 10:00 a.m. service!

The Lord's Lift
Here is how this transportation system will work: If you can offer a ride to someone to church on Sunday…Contact the church office to be placed on a Sunday Rotation Schedule. If you have a Sunday preference, (i.e. 1st Sunday of the month), let that be known. Ideally, you would be part of a rotation schedule, where you would be on Sunday driving duty once a month. Our hope is that there will be more than one volunteer drivers each week. The drivers would need to be flexible as to which service the parishioner needing a ride, wanted to attend…or if multiple drivers, we assign match up people to drivers to cover each desired time.

If you need a ride to church on Sunday…Contact the church office before 4:00 pm on the Thursday before the Sunday that you need a ride to church. Provide our Parish administrator with your name, address, contact information, if you use a walker or wheelchair, and your preference of Sunday Service time. The Lord’s Lift driver will contact you to finalize transportation.
Upcoming Dates:
  • August 11: Blessing of the Backpacks
  • August 24: Parish Picnic
  • August 25: St. Paul's Birthday Celebration
  • September 8: Rally Day
