Greetings Chamber Members and Friends,
Can you believe that Fall will soon be upon us? And that tomorrow is Labor Day? Our Placitas Chamber members are hosting some great events this September:
- Placitas Chamber of Commerce - Chili-Chile Cookoff (aka Chile Cookoff) September 12th, La Puerta Realty office, back patio. Come bring your favorite chili, or chile-infused dish. Dishes will be shared for free tastings, with $1 votes for your favorite dish. Proceeds raised will go to Casa Rosa, our local Placitas Food Bank.
- Wild Hearts Gallery - Featured Artist Marcia Rackstraw's "Reflections" exhibit, September 3-29, with an artist reception September 14th, 1-3 p.m.

Placitas Community Library - Placitas Garden Tour Art Exhibition, August 31 - September 26

Placitas Garden Tour - September 8th. See beautiful native gardens plus live artists making art in each garden.
- Placitas Seller's Market September 14th and 28th, 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Proceeds from booth rentals benefit local Placitas charitable organizations. Come out and find your next treasure!
- Canyon Blues & Jazz final outdoor evening concert of the 2024 season is TODAY, September 1st, - Labor Day Blues Festival Tickets also available at the gate.

Placitas Artists Series - 38th Season opens on September 22nd with a concert and art exhibit; tickets are available!
