THE STUDIOS at the RYE YMCA
Board and staff members recently toured the construction site of the Y Studios located at 1037 Boston Post Road. The Y Studios will feature group exercise, yoga, HIIT and indoor cycling studios as well as Child Watch, a community room and universal locker rooms. The projected opening is May 2022.

Community Leaders Select Winners of Rye YMCA Distracted Walking and Driving Poster Contest

For a brief moment, the Rye Y’s Denise Woodin hoped that judging for the organization’s annual Heads Up! poster contest would take place in person. But then Omicron swept in and the event was moved online for a second year. “Maybe next year,” she said optimistically.

Now in its 11th year, the contest engages Rye High School students in creating posters that illustrate the dangers of distracted walking and driving and the importance of cycling safety. Read more.

Safety Protocols
While the NYS mandate is in place, masks are required for everyone, ages 2 and up, throughout the facility, including while exercising (except the pool & showers).

Keep Our Community Safe
  • Stay home if you are feeling sick.
  • Report symptoms and exposure to COVID-19 to your doctor and follow their guidance.
  • Face masks required for everyone ages 2 and up (no buffs, gaitors nor bandannas allowed).
  • Follow hand sanitizing and hand washing protocol.
  • In the Fitness Center, wipe down equipment before and after usage.
